Lemon Juice

Lemon juice contains vitamin C, which is very

good to increase collagen production in the

skin. It helps in repairing the torn fibers of the

skin. All the citrus fruits are good for the young

and flawless skin. Lemon juice along with Aloe

vera works wonders for the skin and therefore

its regular application can give soft and silky skin.

Get Rid of Stretch Marks is Not Easy

The middle layer of our skin contains collagen fibers that can get damaged due to the overstretching of skin. These fibers tear apart and thus leave stretch marks or a groove on our skin. The vertical lines beneath the surface of the upper layer of the skin, often bright pink or purple in color, when appear on the surface of the skin, are called stretch marks. They mostly appear on buttocks, upper arms, stomach, breasts, and legs.

Unfortunately, to get rid of these unsightly marks is not an easy thing. In order to improve the skin’s elasticity and to keep the stretch marks at bay, you can use vitamin enriched moisturizers. However, these creams and lotions effect up to certain limit because of the skin’s absorption capacity. In order to get the positive results, one has to rub the cream thoroughly so that the moisturizer reaches to the middle layer of the skin. With the use of creams and moisturizers, one has to take diet which is rich in vitamin A, C, and E. Drinking lots of water and staying hydrated also maintains the skin’s elasticity and lessens the possibility of stretch marks.

A sigh of relief is that stretch marks fade away with time. After a couple of years, the affected area starts matching with the surrounded area and thus the marks are less noticeable. Tanning of skin can also help but too much tanning can lead to more skin problems, so one has to be cautious. Sunless tanning can be helpful if a right type of shade is chosen.

Lemon Juice for New Stretch Marks

Many lotions and creams are available in the market to take care of stretch marks. Among them lemon juice is quite effective in reducing the stretch marks. It is not only good for stretch marks; it is advised for acne and freckles. The citric acid that comes from lemon juice offers a safe and gentle exfoliation, keeping the skin young and tight. To get the most impressive results, the lemon juice should be applied as soon as one sees the stretch marks. It becomes very difficult to get rid off white and deep marks however fading of these marks is possible.
